What do I think about the Covid-19 Pandemic?

Of course it's no fun staying inside, not being able to walk around without wearing a mask, or feeling like you've got to "shrink wrap" your body because of the bacteria and germs spread not only from someone else's hands, but their BREATH!  Then hearing about the hundreds of thousands who are sick, in the hospital or have died.  WOW!  Do we need to wear an oxygen mask and carry an oxygen tank with us now?  WHOOOO!  Somethings not right here at all! 

What changed right away?  Well, we learned how to quickly wash our hands as soon as we got home, wipe off all light switches and door knobs we may have touched walking into the house, leave mail for at least 3 days before we opened it (saves having to wipe it off with antiviral wipes), keep clothes separate once worn outside even if they're not dirty, and if you're in doubt....wash your hands again just in case!  These are just a few of the things I can think of right now!

I wash my hands a lot anyway just because of bacteria in the world and I don't want any of it in my body, but this was like...."geez, I just touched the mail to bring it inside, now I've got to wash my hands again?" 

I learned quickly to get away from the Soap Opera I'd pretty much grown up on and have watched for many years since I've been home.  Heh, when they ran out of new shows it was easy to go channel surfing 'cuz I really didn't want to watch reruns from previous years!  (I'm grinning) 

I also learned to watch LESS nightly news and frankly I mostly watch our local news and when it comes to the political stuff....well, I find another channel!  I've found that CBN has more "accurate" news than any others.  

This Pandemic has forced me to watch more Christian TV because I found many preachers I enjoyed watching and had missed while watching other shows. This has brought me closer to the Lord and gotten me to order books, tapes and even 2 different versions of the Bible!  I'm LOVING that part too by the way! 

I've been a Christian for many decades, but not as close to the Lord as I would like to be.  I have done a lot of "Repenting" and gotten a lot of "Forgiveness" and "Healing" at the same time.  Thank You Jesus!  It's amazing how awesome it feels too!

I believe that this Pandemic is partially from the lack of repentance that has been needed in our world today and what is supposed to happen according to the Bible end times.  There are so many things that are totally against the word of God, like: "allowing abortion up to and even shortly after birth (that's MURDER), gay marriage (and calling it marriage which was ordained by God), letting gays use the Rainbow as their logo (which was a promise from God that He wouldn't flood the earth again),  tearing down statues just because someone had slaves over a hundred years ago (which by the way was part of life back then, and even my Indian heritage had them), or lived their life differently than someone thinks they should, taking God out of our schools and actually trying to get kindergarten children to decide what "sex" they want to be, and the list goes on."

This is Blasphemy and I believe America is losing their Grace, Mercy and Favor from the Lord because of it.

You can't erase history and be able to LEARN from it!  Erasing history doesn't make it go away!  We're supposed to LEARN from it which is supposed to stop us from doing it again!  H-E-L-L-O....are you listening?!

I believe that God is tired of the way we're living our lives and by allowing the Pandemic to take hold, we'll be forced to stay at home and raise our children and have an actual "relationship" with them like we should....having a meal together....and slowing down our lives so we can have a relationship with the Lord and stop being selfish, and ignoring Him who gave us LIFE! 

Although I'm not real fond of this Pandemic or wearing a mask when I leave the house, that's the GOOD part of it that I can see.  I know the Lord has pointed me into reading the Bible more, listening to some GREAT Preachers on TV and taking time to LISTEN to Him!  ("Be STILL and know that I am God!")  In our hurried world, we do what WE want to do and not what the LORD wants us to do. 

I believe that the world needs to WAKE UP and get back to God!  Repent of the negative life you may be living or have lived (this is an important first step), ask forgiveness for the things you have pushed aside or forgotten, and get right with God again.  I'm trying to do just that myself and it's amazing how FAST things began to change once I gave my life to the Lord again. 

YES, you can actually FEEL the present of the Spirit!  That "tingle" is how I feel....you may feel something different, but that's the feeling that comes over me, even when I talk to the Lord (talk out loud, He loves it when you do...and speaking aloud is needed), and Thank Him, or even Ask Him something.  Many things have and are changing, and I'm SO grateful! 

This Pandemic may be a pain for us and it's scary.  I feel for those who have lost their friends, loved ones and jobs, because we all have to have an income to live and feed our families.  The one thing that I have to give credit to are the many companies who let their employees work from home so they can not only stay safe, but take care of their children too.  I grew up in a family that had dinner at the table every night, we talked at the dinner table and felt more involved in each others lives also.
