When I look at the date, then look back on when I last added to this site it just makes me wonder, "Where on earth have the years gone, and why are they going by so fast?"
I know we're not in a time warp, so there's really no reason for it, but it really does feel like time is going faster than it used to.
So what's been going on? Wow, so many small things that I'd have to stop and think back. Of course, Covid has changed so many things that it's hard to tell you all the things that have changed, how we've all had to revamp our lives and the way we do things now.
I actually had my first "outing" without a mask almost 2 months ago when the hubby and I went to Branson Faith Life Church to see Kenneth Copeland and Jerry Savelle at the 2022 Branson Victory Campaign! It was GREAT!
The church was so huge that I was awe struck just going inside! Wow, I haven't been in a church that large for decades. The teaching was awesome (I watch Kenneth and Jerry on tv, so I was familiar), but I still learned a lot while there! I'm glad that all the technology now days helps us so much....like being able to look at a huge screen and see everything as if I was sitting right there in the front row!
The biggest thing was having the hubby with me! I know he felt a bit out of place, but I'm glad he went with me 'cuz it made my day even better!
Between Jerry and Kenneth we had time to get a bite to eat, so we headed to Red Lobster where I had another "first time" because I hadn't been in a restaurant since Covid started either, especially without a mask!
It was time for a CHANGE, that's for sure, and we did it up BIG TIME that day! I talked about that salmon dinner I had for days, and I really think I could taste it as well! We needed to walk it all off, so we took our time and headed back to the church so we wouldn't be late to see Kenneth.
I actually felt HUMAN again, and it was great having the hubby there too!
It's not that I've never gone anywhere since Covid started over 2 years ago, it's just that I would go to therapy or the doctors, wear my mask and come back home 'cuz back problems leave me sore and needing the heating pad and walking very far isn't the easiest either, so this was a huge step.
It was a cold and windy day, but since I've got that Yankee blood in me it didn't bother me at all. If you've ever been to Branson you'll find that no matter which way you go, it's "up hill" BOTH ways! I'm glad it wasn't icy or we probably wouldn't have ever made it. (yes, I'm grinning)
I was pretty worn out for a few days afterwards with overload (music, hundreds of people, lights, etc.), but it was well worth it and I'd do it again in a heart beat! I just wished I could hold all the information I got in my brain! Ah, now that would be awesome too!
I still take things a day at a time but I'm still not giving up, just trying to adapt when it's needed! Hang in there, get some "Jesus" knowledge into your spirit, mind and body, and know that when we pass we'll be with the Lord......in a NEW Heavenly body with NO limitations! Thank You Jesus!
Talk to ya'll soon!
